What counts as a career here?
This picker uses occupation labels from the European Commission’s ESCO classification, grouped by the first digit of their ISCO code. It includes office roles, skilled trades, service jobs, technical work and specialist professions. A job title describes an occupation, not a current vacancy.
Turn a result into a useful question
Look up what the occupation involves, which tasks appeal to you and what training is required where you live. ESCO labels are reused under CC BY 4.0 with attribution. The random draw does not assess your suitability or predict salary, demand or licensing eligibility.
How repeated draws work
Each matching item is drawn once before the matching collection starts a new round. Changing filters keeps track of matching items already shown while the page stays open. A small filtered collection will be exhausted sooner. Reloading the page starts a fresh session; no account or saved reading history is used.
Common questions
Does this recommend the right career for me?
No. It is a way to discover occupations you can research, not a vocational assessment.
Are the Spanish names made up?
They use ESCO’s Spanish occupation labels. Some labels include both masculine and feminine forms.
