How to use this generator

  1. Leave Main material on Random, or choose the material you want to use.
  2. Open Advanced options to limit estimated hands-on time or choose a difficulty. Generate one project and read its materials and steps.
  3. Copy the full brief, generate another project or use Clear filters to broaden the selection.

Examples

  • Folded corner bookmark — Botanical palette
  • Cardboard-loom mini weaving — Bold stripes

What the collection includes

The collection has 64 core projects across eight material groups: paper, cardboard, yarn, fabric and felt, beads, air-dry clay, natural materials and reused packaging. Each project has eight adaptable design briefs, giving 512 project-and-design combinations. These are original activity suggestions, not a claim of 512 different craft techniques.

Choose a project that fits your materials

The main-material filter does not mean it is the only supply required. Read the full materials list before starting. The design brief describes a visual direction; the material-specific guidance explains how to express it using paper shapes, yarn colours, bead sequences, texture or arrangement. You can adapt the colours to what you have.

Time, difficulty and drying

Time filters use rough hands-on estimates. Drying glue or paint, curing adhesives, drying clay and pressing leaves can take much longer. Beginner projects use basic cutting, folding, arranging or gluing; the Some practice filter includes the weaving and knotting projects. These labels are informal, not age ratings. Follow the instructions on your actual tools and materials.

More variety during a session

The picker rotates through matching core projects before returning to another design variation of those projects. It also remembers individual project-and-design combinations until the matching set has been used. Narrow filters give fewer choices; reloading starts a new session. No account or saved activity history is used.

Common questions

Can I find crafts using recycled materials?

Yes. Choose Recycled packaging for clean paper tubes, packaging card, magazines, envelopes and paper bags. The Cardboard group includes more box and card projects.

Are these projects specifically for children?

They are general craft ideas, not age-certified activities or toys. Choose suitable tools, adhesives and supervision. Small beads, cords and loose parts are unsuitable for unsupervised young children.

Can a 30-minute clay project be finished in half an hour?

That estimate covers active work only. Air-dry clay needs the drying time on its package before painting or handling as a finished piece. These clay projects are decorative, not for food or water use.
