How to use this generator

  1. Choose land mammals, reptiles, invertebrates or marine animals.
  2. Optionally focus on one animal or group in Advanced options.
  3. Generate a fact and follow its zoo, museum, NOAA or national-park reference for context.

Examples

  • Hippo — Eyes, ears and nostrils sit high on the head, allowing a hippo to remain mostly submerged.
  • Tiger — Stripes help break up a tiger’s outline in grass and forest cover.

Facts instead of fear rankings

The collection has four distinct facts for each of 35 animals or explicitly broad animal groups. It includes adaptations, behaviour, ecology and selected defensive traits. Inclusion does not mean every member of a group is hazardous or normally aggressive. Venom potency, encounter frequency and real-world risk are different questions.

Source scope matters

Some profiles cover a species, while others discuss groups such as pythons, bees or crocodilians. Claims keep that scope rather than inventing a species-level identification. The collection is educational and does not provide wildlife-handling instructions, identification from photos or emergency treatment.

No-repeat rounds with real limits

Each matching record is used before that selection starts another round. Subject rotation also spreads related plants or animals where the pool allows. Filters retain seen-record history during the visit, but narrow selections finish sooner. Reloading or opening another page starts a fresh session.

Common questions

Why are conservation and behaviour facts included?

Understanding a potentially hazardous animal includes its ecology and behaviour. A page consisting only of attack claims would give a distorted picture.

Does every filter have hundreds of facts?

No. The complete set has 140 cards, with four per animal/group; narrow selections can be much smaller. Broaden filters for a longer round.
